Riad Africa is located in a very safe and peaceful residential neighbourhood in the Riad Zitoun Lakdim area of the ancient medina of Marrakech.
Offering easy access (just a 2 minute walk from the taxi stand and bank) it takes just 5 minutes to walk the 400 metres to the bustling Djemaa el Fna along the easy to navigate Riad Zitoun Lakdim street.
DIRECTIONS TO RIAD AFRICA ON FOOT
From the small roundabout in the ‘Mellah’ area (which is in front of the taxi rank on the map below) walk along Riad Zitoun Lakdim (note the mosque with minaret on right hand side). After a couple of minutes take the first turning on the left (look for a blue telecom sign on the corner of the wall above the street). After 15 metres take the first left turn again (opposite a glass-cutting shop). Take a right turn after 25 metres, then the immediate first left again into Derb Sakka. Riad Africa is on the left side of this street. If you need help please call the riad and one of our team will assist.
PRE-BOOKED ARRIVAL TRANSFERS WITH RIAD AFRICA
Your transfer driver will be waiting for you outside the arrivals area at Marrakech airport. He will be holding a sign saying ‘Riad Africa’. The transfer usually takes around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. One of Riad Africa’s hosts will meet you at the transfer drop-off point in front of the taxi rank (see map above) and will escort you to the riad. If you need help transporting luggage a ‘chariot’ or hand-pulled cart can be hired for 30 dirhams. If you cannot locate our transfer driver please wait at the airport information desk and call the riad reception.
